Matt Haselden (b. Truro, Cornwall 1973- ) is a Montrose based artist whose practice is focused mainly on abstract drawings, but extends into sculpture, printmaking.

Originally from Cornwall, he spent much of his free time drawing the local cliffs and moorland. His work went through levels of abstraction, introducing primitive forms and a variety of imaginary figurative aspects. He is now working on developing his work into three dimensional printed forms.
